The shrine at the Meditation Day at Parkwood on Sunday 20th November 2022
On Sunday 20 th November 2022, Ayya Seri Bhikkhuni conducted a Meditation Day at Whaleback Girl Guide Hall (on the premises of Whaleback Golf Course), Parkwood.
The Meditation Day was to mark the First Death Anniversary of Ayya Vayama Bhikkhuni Theri. Forty lay supporters including three of Ayya Vayama Bhikkhuni Theri’s support workers attended the Meditation Day.
Ravi and Jamila De Silva and their family offered dana that day for all participants.
Ramani Gunasekera offered the hiring of the hall.
Dilusha and Purnima Silva were the Meditation Day coordinators and Chrissie Anderson, Jo Bower, Chandrika and Mohan Perera were our volunteers.
